Meet the artist behind Reflections as Paul Finkel recalls the narratives and geography of individual pieces in the collection; many with origins from around the country. Free and open to the public, refreshments will be served.

A strong passion for worldwide travel during the past 30 years eventually became associated with digital travel photography for Finkel. Initially people, landscapes, and wildlife were the central motifs of his photography before he turned to the idea of “reflections” after an inspiring trip to Reykjavik, Iceland in 2012. Those initial subjects were presented in his exhibition, Explorations, at the Healing Arts Gallery in Thousand Oaks in 2006, and in the Photography Vision Six exhibition at the Galleria at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts in Thousand Oaks in late 2006. Finkel is also involved in other arts as the Chairman of the Board of the New West Symphony. He resides in Westlake Village with his wife Karen.
