2:00 pm PDT - 4:00 pm PDT

Lundring Events Center  |  Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014  |  2-4 pm

Film producer, poster design director, and collector Mike Kaplan will discuss the vintage movie posters on display in Gotta Dance! The Art of the Dance Movie Poster from the Mike Kaplan Collection.

He frequently worked with British airbrush artist Philip Castle, including on a poster for Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange that was voted the All-Time Best Film Poster by patrons of England’s Odeon Cinema Circuit.

The lecture will begin at 2 pm in the Lundring Events Center (directly across from the William Rolland Gallery). Following the presentation, guests will be invited to join Kaplan on a guided tour of the exhibit and refreshments will be served. Admission is free, no reservations required.
