Join us for a musical performance that will include Bohuslav Martinů’s Serenata II and Antonín Dvořák’s Miniatures, among others, performed by the Los Angeles String Kollektiv.
The Los Angeles String Kollektiv is a Los Angeles and Conejo Valley-based string ensemble formed in early 2016 and recently relocated to California from the East Coast, whose members are internationally recognized. The Kollektiv is dedicated to music making, music education and promoting music learning and instruction for music-lovers of all ages.
Gulia Gurevich is a widely known violinist and a dedicated teacher. Gulia is also a member of the award winning trio-Prima Trio. Violist Alexander Gurevich is a former member of the Florida Philharmonic and is a general manager of the New West Symphony. Farkhad and Hayley Abdikadirov are active in their dedication to promoting music in the lives of people affected by mental deceases, they are founding members of the Me2 Orchestra, a Boston-based string orchestra and the only group in the world that is formed by musicians with mental health issues and their supporters.
This concert is free and open to the public.
