Born in Iloilo City, Philippines, Angela Peñaredondo is a Filipinx poet and artist. She is the author of All Things Lose Thousands of Times, winner of the Hillary Gravendyk Poetry Prize (Inlandia Press), and Maroon (Jamii Publications). She is a VONA/Voices of our Nations Art fellow, and recipient of many other honors and awards including a University of California Institute for Research in the Arts Grant, and Naropa University’s Zora Neal Hurston Award. She lives in Southern California.
