The William Rolland Gallery of Fine Art is pleased to announce a performance by celebrated vocalist Laurie Rubin accompanied by pianist Jenny Taira, presented by New West Symphony. The program includes music from select films represented in the GOTTA DANCE! exhibition, including “An American in Paris,” “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers,” and others. In addition, Rubin will share selections from her new memoir, “Do You Dream in Color? Insights From a Girl Without Sight,” that touches on her complex relationship with the color spectrum and chronicles her rise from a blind musical prodigy to an accomplished international opera singer.
