Resonating Images III concludes a three-part series investigating representational art from 1900 until today. This final installment presents the work of living artists in the Los Angeles region and explores the impact of traditional styles of representation.
Artists exhibited include Van Arno, Bayo, Sandow Birk, Davis Cone, Ron English, Paul Fenniak, Helen Rebekah Garber, Wes Hempel, F. Scott Hess, Alec Huxley, Ruth Grace Jervis, Eric Joyner, Gegam Kacherian, Michael Knowlton, Ira Korman, Brin Levinson, Craig McPherson, Adam Miller, Odd Nerdrum, Billy Norrby, Michael Pearce, Michael Andrew Rosenfeld, Randye Sandel, Christopher Ulrich, and Peter Zokosky.
Artwork loans were generously provided by C.A.V.E. Gallery, Copro Gallery, Corey Helford Gallery, Forum Gallery, George Billis Gallery, Koplin de Rio Gallery, La Luz de Jesus Gallery, and Rosamund Felsen Gallery. The exhibition was curated by Jeff Phillips.
